SMS Relay — Terms of Use

1. The service

SMS Relay is a tool that forwards incoming SMS messages that match filters you create to destinations you configure — Telegram, email through your own SMTP server, or an API you specify. You control what is forwarded and where. TEQNEIA does not review, monitor or control the content you forward.

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
• You register with your name, mobile number and email address, and must keep this information accurate.
• You are responsible for keeping your device, account and destination credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@teqneia.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Lawful use and your responsibility

SMS Relay can be used in many countries, and laws on intercepting, forwarding and storing messages differ between them. You are solely responsible for making sure your use of the app complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including those on privacy, data protection, telecommunications, interception of communications, banking and financial data.

You confirm that:

• You will install and use SMS Relay only on a device and SIM card that you own or are authorized to use.
• You will forward only messages that you are entitled to receive and forward, and you have any consent required from other people whose information the messages contain.
• You own, or are authorized to use, every destination you configure — email accounts, SMTP servers, Telegram bots and chats, and APIs.
• Where you forward messages for a business, you are responsible for meeting that business's legal obligations, such as informing customers and protecting their data.

4. Prohibited uses

You must not use SMS Relay to:

We may suspend or close accounts involved in prohibited use and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

5. Plans, subscriptions and billing

• Current limits and prices are shown in the app and on Google Play.
• Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Google Play and renew automatically each year unless you cancel in Google Play at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies , except where local consumer law gives you additional rights.
• If your subscription ends, adapters beyond the free plan limit are disabled, not deleted.
• Deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription; you must cancel it in Google Play.
• We may change prices or plan features with advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

6. Third-party destinations and services

Telegram, your email provider, your SMTP server and any API you configure are operated by third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply once a message reaches them. TEQNEIA is not responsible for their availability, security or handling of your messages. This includes TEQNEIA systems you connect to through an API adapter, which are governed by their own terms.

7. Service availability

Delivery depends on factors outside our control, including your mobile network, internet connection, Android battery management, device manufacturer settings and destination services. Messages may be delayed, delivered more than once, or not delivered, for example when they pass the queue expiry time you set.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, SMS Relay is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free delivery. OTP detection reduces risk but cannot guarantee that every verification code is recognized.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TEQNEIA is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the app, delayed or failed delivery, or the actions of third-party destinations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for SMS Relay in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold TEQNEIA harmless from claims, damages, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your forwarding of messages you were not entitled to forward.

11. Intellectual property

The app, its design, code and the SMS Relay and TEQNEIA names belong to TEQNEIA. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app under these Terms. Your messages and configurations remain yours.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or our systems. Sections 3, 8, 9, 10 and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Cairo, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date and notify you in the app before significant changes apply. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Contact
